Level 1 - AI-Assisted

Why the Progression Matters

Organisations that try to jump straight to autonomous AI without foundations typically end up with expensive tools that nobody trusts or uses consistently. The pattern is predictable:

Without Level 1 experience, your team does not know what AI does well and where it fails. They will not trust autonomous systems they have never worked alongside.

Without Level 2 infrastructure, your data and processes are not connected. Autonomous agents need structured inputs and defined workflows. If your processes live in spreadsheets and email threads, there is nothing for AI to orchestrate.

The progression builds three things simultaneously: technical infrastructure (data, integrations, processes), governance frameworks (policies, oversight, compliance), and cultural readiness (trust, skills, shared vocabulary).
